The PWGSC Vancouver office provides procurement services to the
public in English.
Requirement: To supply for rental, high mountain, long track
snowmobiles suitable for operation in the mountainous terrain in
and around the Whistler Resort district. Equipment to be
delivered, maintained and serviced on site throughout the
operational phase of the OLYMPIC games. The snow mobiles must
be long tack touring style with a maximum operating range. They
must be capable of carrying two operators and their personal
equipment. The contractor will provide Gasoline, Diesel,
Naphtha, Injection oil, Antifreeze and consumable parts plus
labour for repairing the snowmobiles if necessary. The
requirement also include the supply and rental of two double
snowmobile trailers.
Period of Rental: From January 15, 2010 up to and including
March 31, 2010

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number(s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
